A host of extra performances from the archives will be added to the 50th anniversary Glastonbury Experience on the BBC later this month, including Dave’s memorable set from 2019.

It was previously confirmed that classic performances by the likes of David Bowie, Adele and Beyoncé would be shown over five days of dedicated coverage from June 25-29, coinciding with when the Worthy Farm festival was due to take place.

Glastonbury became one of the UK’s first major music festivals to cancel its 2020 plans back in March, but there’s a chance for fans to look back at their favourite moments from over the years this month.

Dave’s performance from 2019 famously featured a cameo from audience member Alex on the AJ Tracey duet Thiago Silva. Little Simz and Michael Kiwanuka’s sets from 2019 will also be made available, as will Grimes’s show from 2016, Jamie XX’s set from 2015 and FKA Twigs performance from 2015.

From 10am on June 25 until late on June 29, fans will be able to revisit these performances, as well as revisit sets from Coldplay, Jay Z, Ed Sheeran, Christine & The Queens, Florence + The Machine and plenty more on BBC Two, BBC Four and BBC iPlayer.

Three 90-minute programmes will air on BBC Two on June 26, 27 and 29 — the nights that were set to be headlined by Taylor Swift, Kendrick Lamar and Paul McCartney.
