BBC announces Celebrity Traitors and fourth season of hit show filmed in Scotland
Fans of The Traitors are in for a treat as the BBC has confirmed that a celebrity edition is on its way.
Moreover, the broadcaster delighted viewers with the announcement that the show has been greenlit for a fourth series while confirming the wrap-up of filming for series three in the Scottish Highlands.
Claudia Winkleman will be back presenting the popular game show where contestants need to deduce who among them are "Faithfuls" and who are the "Traitors".

Studio Lambert will not only deliver these two new commissions but also a 12-episode run of The Traitors: Uncloaked companion series.
Comedian Ed Gamble is set to host the spin-off again, accompanying the main shows third instalment.
BBC's head of entertainment, Kalpna Patel-Knight, expressed her excitement: "The Traitors has well and truly established itself as an unmissable highlight of the year and the news of a fourth outing, alongside a brand new celebrity version coming to the BBC, will take the series to a whole new level."
She anticipated the audience's reaction, stating: "It will once again be fascinating for our audiences to see who'll outwit, outplay, and outlast. Let the mind games begin."
Mike Cotton, Studio Lambert's creative director of unscripted content and executive producer for The Traitors, shared his eagerness about the developments: "We are thrilled to be inviting some celebrities into our castle to come and play the game.
"To have celebrities at the round table or wearing the infamous green cloaks promises to make this unmissable TV."
He concluded: "Seeing famous faces navigate the round table or don the infamous green cloaks will be unmissable TV, and what a double treat for the fans with series four also confirmed too.
"There's a whole lot of exciting treachery and deception yet to come from the Highlands... Claudia's going to have to pack some extra knitwear."
The show has scooped multiple accolades, including the Bafta TV Award for best reality and constructed factual in 2023, and a National Television Award for best reality competition that same year.
In the previous year, host Claudia Winkleman, 52, clinched the Bafta TV Award for best entertainment performance and was honoured with the Edinburgh TV Festival's outstanding achievement award.
The second series, which premiered in January 2024, concluded with British Army engineer Harry Clark walking away with the entire £95,150 prize pot, having successfully fooled disability model Mollie Pearce into believing he was a Faithful, while he was actually a Traitor.
Further information regarding the broadcast of The Traitors, Celebrity Traitors (working title), and The Traitors: Uncloaked will be announced in due time.
