BBC Breakfast presenter forced to correct co-star in awkward blunder
A presenter on BBC Breakfast had to be corrected after he mistakenly shared the time to viewers. During the Sunday edition (September 15) of BBC Breakfast, a light-hearted moment unfolded on the iconic red sofa which saw Roger Johnson in need of a quick correction from meteorologist Sarah Keith Lucas.
While engaging with viewers and discussing important headlines, the point came to transition to Sarah for the latest weather forecast. Roger began: "Quater to nine. Let's get a check on the weather if you're just peeking out from under the duvet. Morning Sarah, how's it looking?"
A confused Sarah responded: "Well I think it's not looking quarter to nine Roger. It's quarter to eight."
Caught by his error, Roger reacted with surprise: "Oh did I say quarter nine?" Luxmy Gopal, co-hosting alongside him, didn't miss a beat as she praised Sarah for being so observant.

Taking the gaffe in stride, Sarah quipped: "I thought 'Am I going crazy? ' Don't worry everyone," before sharing a laugh and moving past the minor mix-up, reports the Express.
The previous day, Saturday's programme saw Sarah joining Naga Munchetty and Ben Thompson on air. However, Sarah was taken aback when Naga light-heartedly suggested that bad weather might sometimes be blamed on the meteorologist.
As they spoke about not needing to complain about the current weather, Naga playfully remarked that when the weather forecast wasn't positive, she blames Sarah.
Naga Munchetty remarked: "It's been a while Sarah that I haven't whined at our forecasters and I'm not whining at you today."
Ben Thompson, trying to decipher Naga's comment, added: "Because it's all their fault." To which Naga humorously responded: "Yes, particularly Sarah's!"
Weather presenter Sarah Keith-Lucas then said: "I mean I try but it doesn't always work out." Naga playfully retorted: "Keep trying harder. Try harder, you're doing better today! " before giggling and moving on to the next segment of the show. Ben also seemed amused by Naga's candid remarks.
Later in the programme, after another favourable weather update, Ben and Naga shared a light-hearted moment, applauding Sarah. Naga cheerfully said: "There you go Sarah, another round of applause for you!"
