BBC Inside the Factory visits Povey's Oatcakes tonight
North Staffordshire institution Povey's Oatcakes is appearing on TV tonight. Owner Alex Povey is on tonight's edition of Inside the Factory,
Viewers will see Alex welcome resident historian Ruth Goodman inside the Biddulph High Street shop. It comes as presenter Paddy McGuinness visits the Graze factory in London as he learns more about the production of flapjacks.
A BBC spokesman said: "Historian Ruth Goodman learns about the fascinating history of another oaty snack, the Staffordshire oatcake."

In a social media post to customers, Povey's Oatcakes added: "Tonight's Inside the Factory - definitely featuring Povey's Oatcakes. Fourth episode here we come."
Povey's has been producing oatcakes - using a secret family recipe - for 31 years after being founded by the late Steve Povey. Son Alex took up the reins following the death of dad Steve.
Inside the Factory is on BBC1 from 8pm on Tuesday, January 21.
