London is forecast to reach temperatures of over 20C for seven days in a row, according to BBC Weather. After a rainy week, a mini heatwave will set in from Monday, June 3 to Sunday, 9 June.

Although Monday (June 3) is set to be cloudy and breezy, it later warms up by the afternoon, hitting 20C by 3pm. Tuesday (June 4) will see light rains and showers at 4pm, but temperatures will be hovering around 21C.

Wednesday (5 June) will be brighter, with sunny intervals and higher temperatures throughout the day. Thursday (June 6), Friday (June 7) and Saturday (June 8) look set to be fairly similar.

On Sunday (9 June), the weather will be generally sunny with temperatures reaching 20C, but light rain showers are expected between 6am and 11am. A Met Office spokesperson said: "During the outlook period, the weather will turn more settled as high pressure builds in from the west.

"It will feel warm with light winds, but it will feel cooler near the coast where onshore sea breezes develop. This fair weather is likely to continue for a few days into the following week, but thereafter the outlook becomes more uncertain.

"The south of the UK will probably be drier, although not ruling out scattered showers completely. Cooler and cloudier further northwest, where rain is more likely.

"Temperatures will probably be around normal or a little above average." This week, however, looks rather gloomy, with rain forecast every day except Sunday (June 2).
