BBC Music Awards: One Direction, Little Mix, Ellie Goulding And More To Perform

The BBC Music Awards are BACK for a second year and the line-up is bigger and better than before, with One Direction, Little Mix and Ellie Goulding just three of the huge names signed up to perform on the night.

Mumford and Sons, Hozier, Jess Glynne and OMI complete this year’s incredible line-up, who will be taking to the stage in Birmingham in December, joined by the BBC Concert Orchestra.

Nick Grimshaw and Chris Evans made the announcement this morning, making us scream so loud in excitement, dogs started barking and car alarms started ringing.

Alright, slight exaggeration, but with a line-up like that can you blame us for skipping around the house in joy?

Fearne Cotton and Chris Evans are resuming hosting duties for the occasion, handing out the awards for British Artist of the Year, International Artist of the Year, BBC Introducing Artist, Song of the Year and newly-created Live Performance of the Year.

Explaining how excited she is to be involved, Jess Glynne said: “I was there last year at the inaugural awards, performing with Clean Bandit, and it was a great night, with a brilliant performance from Ed Sheeran among my personal favourites.”

OMI added: “I’m extremely excited as usual. I love being in the UK and feeling the British energy. I can’t wait to perform for my fans.”

Host Chris also can’t wait to return to the awards, revealing: “We had such a blast last year so I can’t wait to get back on stage and relive this amazing musical year of 2015.”

Eek - We can’t wait either!
