BBC Radio 2's Zoe Ball sells country home and 'moves to new house next to ex-husband'
Zoe Ball has reportedly sold her country home four years after purchasing it for a cool £2million. The 53 year old, who has been absent from her Radio 2 breakfast show since August 8, has recently relocated.
Reports suggest she sold her rural residence in the Sussex village of Newick, which she acquired in August 2020. It's thought that she has moved to a townhouse situated between Brighton and Hove, close to her ex-husband DJ Norman Cook - the father of her two children.
The couple separated in 2016 and finalised their divorce in 2020. Some insiders close to the beloved presenter have hinted that this move signifies a "new start" for Zoe, following her split from partner Michael Reed last year after over five years together.

An insider familiar with her new abode told Mail Online: "Zoe obviously got fed up with life in the country and wanted to move to somewhere a bit more lively."
They also revealed that she has been busy ordering new furniture to decorate her fresh digs. The source further shared: "She has become really engrossed in making her house just as she wants it and has been happily ordering furniture and buying bits and bobs to make it perfect."
The BBC 's published timetable shows Zoe returning to the breakfast slot on Monday, while her stand-in, Scott Mills, is set to resume his afternoon show. A spokeswoman for BBC Radio 2 commented only that: "Zoe will return to the Radio 2 Breakfast Show later this month."
But sources later suggested nothing was set in stone. It comes after Zoe and Norman's son Woody, who has appeared alongside his mum on Celebrity Gogglebox and also appeared on Netflix's The Circle, told MailOnline : "My mum and I like to keep our private lives to ourselves but I will say I have stepped up and spent a lot more time with her recently as she has always been there when I've had tough times. I'm glad to see her smiling."
