BBC Saturday Kitchen stars have been left gagging after host Matt Tebbutt broke show rules on Saturday's programme. As per the show tradition, Matt asked his guests what their Food Heaven and Food Hell is - i.e. their dream meal and most-hated food.

Matt was joined by Capital radio breakfast hosts Jordan North, Sian Welby and Chris Stark and also cooking on this week's show were Andi Oliver and Nathan Outlaw. Matt asked the trio what their ideal dish would be and the group shared that their ideal meal would be "pub grub".

But they warned: "No smelly food, like fish." Matt then explained how their two dishes that viewers would vote for were a traditional pub grub-style and British pie and a less appealing Kipper Hash breakfast, adding: "We're heading towards fish at the moment."

Matt's cheeky comment came as he broke protocol, having usually refrained from issuing an insight into how viewers were voting. "Do you want our guests to tuck into their food heaven which is posh pub grub, a cajun chicken pie?" he said.

"Or do you fancy them facing the dreaded studio banned kippers whipped up into a breakfast hash? Hit up the website and cast your vote." Lifting the veil, he then cheekily said: "It's going fish at the moment." The trio replied: "That's our listeners trolling us."

Jordan, the former I'm A Celebrity star, raged: "That's our listeners winding us up," as Sian fumed: "They do, they want us to suffer." Jordan, Sian, and Chris told Matt they "already knew" what the vote result would be before it was announced. Turns out they were bang on the vote had not swung in their favour.

Jordan declared: "Bring on the kippers." Andi said: "I'm allergic to the pie so I am really happy with kippers," with Jordan cheekily asking: "It was you outside phoning in, wasn't it?" Sian seethed: "I'm not eating that, I'm sorry but I'm not." Matt replied "Come on you've been drinking all day."

Sian quipped: "Ohh that's really fishy, at this point Matt, I just need some toast."
