BBC Saturday Kitchen viewers issue same demand as credits roll and beg 'please'
BBC Saturday Kitchen has been flooded with the same demand from fans as they rush to demand a star return to the show next week. Nicklas Ekstedt massively stole the show on Saturday's edition as Matt Tebbutt welcomed him into the BBC studio.
One Twitter/X user said: "please bring back the Swedish chef (didn't catch his name), he is so entertaining. Laughed so much #saturdaykitchen #SaturdayMorning #SaturdayMorningShow" Discussing Nadiya's appearance, a second said: "Disappointed that she cooked something featured on her recent series rather than something fresh from her latest book."
Another said: "Always love Niklas on @SaturdayKitchen hugely entertaining. Big personality, great food & the bromance with Matt is always fun. Loved him saying the wine was his ‘cup of tea’. He’s been properly anglicised"

Niklas was on the show alongside the likes of Nadiya Hussain, from the Great British Bake Off, today. "Whilst watching #SaturdayKitchen with a sequence from the Hairy Bikers, making a gorgeous soufflé. My mum said, " Bad eggs are great for making cakes" "What?!". No! Anyone who has ever cracked open a Bad egg knows, they are smelly and awful. But so rare to experience, in modern," another social media user said.
Another typed: "As it was through the lockdowns, food cookery is now my go-to. There is no doubt how expensive it is going to become. For me, versus my electricity bill, it remains my solace. My, cut off the brain. Yet whatever er I do something crops up that needs to be jotted down."
Niklas was born in 1978 in Jämtland in northern Sweden but spent time in southern Sweden and England as he was growing up. Since opening his first restaurant at 21, he has opened several successful restaurants around Sweden earning him nationwide recognition. He has also released four cookbooks and is the host of two cooking shows.
