BBC Saturday Kitchen viewers say 'weekend ruined' over interview that's 'unwatchable'
BBC Saturday Kitchen viewers have slammed the "middle class" nature of the show - and declared their "weekend ruined" after the latest instalment. Matt Tebbutt hosted the show from 10am until 11:30am on Saturday morning (November 30) on BBC One.
"why do so many restaurants put Chili in food? Some people cannot eat it and some restauranteurs give you short shift if you say “you don’t want it in your food”," asked one fan. A second fumed: "Just watched a few minutes of the show and what a middle-class program it is."
"Saturday ruined," another said. Another fumed: "My irritation levels are off the scale.." "There's only one thing worse than having a DJ as a guest on this show.. And that's having three DJs..," another commented on social media as the episode played out.

Others branded the Andi Oliver interview "unwatchable". And another wrote: "Regular wino, tebbut and Andi Oliver. Cheesy bake thing, some Z listers I've never heard of... probably got a book coming out. Summed up #saturdaykitchen I'm off to do some cooking." Another raged: "Kinell, looks like Rick's doing the UK's equivalent of the Bush Tucker trial. #SaturdayKitchen"
"That savoury bread and butter pudding that Andi Oliver's just cooked looks fabulous; right up my street. Got all the ingredients, luckily, so it's Sunday lunch for us," another commented. And another said: "The pie looks great, and I would love to eat the kipper hash. Lads, it’s Hell from me, you can thank me later. Also, who are the celebs?
"I have never heard of them. They seem like nice people who would actually love a kipper hash." Matt was joined in the studio by the likes of Andi Oliver and also Jordan North, the former BBC Radio 1 DJ and ITV I'm A Celebrity star.
