BBC Saturday Kitchen viewers have lodged the same complaints over the show's line up on Saturday - as they rushed to slam the programme over its guests in the studio. Some even went as far as to say their weekend had been "ruined" by the BBC episode.

After Matt introduced Chris Stark, he began repeatedly thumping his palm heavily on the table. “Careful, is glass” Tebbutt warned, grimacing. “This is a bit of a lay-in for us... but we’re always really high energy,” Jordan North said.

The presenter described their energy, which they brought with them to the kitchen, as “Capital on caffeine”.- Sian Welby explained that the trio were “giddy” to be on the show and revealed she almost “whooped” as they were introduced.

Matt then halted the show to deliver a three-word warning and warned: “We’re not American.” Taking to Twitter, now X, fans were left raging over the three Capital FM stars being in the studio for the latest episode of the BBC favourite, slamming the line-up and saying they were too loud.

One viewer fumed: “Fancy listening to these banal pricks shouting at each other, thinking they’re being clever every morning - by choice!” A second agreed, writing: “My irritation levels are off the scale." And another seethed: “Everyone on Saturday Kitchen is SO F*****G LOUD today!”

“All talking at the same time trying to outdo each other,” another chimed in. And another revealed: “I literally have turned the tv down.” Another responded in agreement, posting a gif of a volume slider being turned down to zero.

After another commented that their Saturday had been "ruined" by the programme, another fan rushed to write in defence of the show, which aired from 9am until 11am on November 30 as part of the final episode of the month: "Everyone complaining about the line up and me thinking 'what a fantastic line up for once'.”
