BBC Silent Witness fans make urgent plea as emotional Nikki moment leaves them in tears

Silent Witness fans couldn’t contain their emotions as they made an urgent plea after a moving moment with Dr. Nikki Alexander.

The BBC hit show returned to our TV screens tonight (January 20) as the Lyell team embarks on a quest to locate the rest of a woman's body after discovering a woman's hand in the canal.

Nikki found herself navigating the realm of criminal justice. In court a male lawyer is trying to argue the victim fell and the injuries were accidental, however, Nikki says the bruising indicates intentional harm.

It was later revealed that the victim was female barrister Faith, who has been missing for a while and the person responsible might be a mystery man named Stefan, who had been previously harassing Faith.

Nikki broke the news to partner Lucy but said that she could still be alive. Nikki then said that she found some DNA on Faith's hand that belongs to someone else so she wanted to swab Faith’s son Josh to check if it's not him.

Lucy was in tears as she turned to Nikki and asked: “What do I say to him? How on earth do I tell him?” Nikki was visibly emotional as she replied: “I promise we’re doing everything we can to find Faith.”

During Nikki’s interaction with Josh, viewers insisted that she needs to have children in a future series after the heartwarming moment.
