BBC Strictly Come Dancing fans say 'see you in the final' as celebrity's past causes divide
Strictly Come Dancing fans have already named one of their finalists, despite the new couples haven't not performed their first official routine yet.
The BBC One dance contest burst back onto screens on Saturday night (September 14) with its pre-recorded launch show. Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman returned to host the show and introduce the class of 2024 to the iconic ballroom for the first time.
They were joined by some very familiar faces - the Strictly judges Shirley Ballas, Anton Du Beke, Motis Mabuse and Craig Revel Horwood - who will be back to cast an expert eye over the array of routines set to come when the competition officially begins with the first live show next Saturday, September 21, on BBC1 and BBC iPlayer.

And while it was all about kicking off the 22nd series of Strictly with a bang, it was also about discovering who in the celebrity line-up had been partnered with which professional dancer for the upcoming season.
During the launch show, it was revealed that former Love Island Tasha Ghouri has been paried with returning pro Aljaz Skorjanec, much to both of their delight.
On being partnered with Aljaz, Tasha, who was born deaf said: "I am absolutely ecstatic! He’s so fun – chaos, but I love a bit of chaos energy. Honestly, we mesh so well, and I’m so excited. He’s already teaching me little moves, and I’m trying to keep up, but I’ve got a very good one here."
Aljaž, who is back on the show after a two-year hiatus, then shared his advice for Tasha, saying: "Enjoy and embrace every single step of it, honestly, because it's the most special show that you could ever do."
And it seems Strictly fans already think they could go all the way to the end of the hit dance show this year, despite some being divided over Tasha's previous dance experience.

But @SG902110 posted: "I love Tasha BUT all her dance training, and training school just makes me think it’s not fair #Strictly." @_okamber added: "Love tasha ghouri but bit unfair her being in strictly when she’s a dancer? #Strictly."
