Tess Daly infurated Strictly Come Dancing fans after an unintentional 'cruel' moment wirh Dr Punam Krishan during the latest live show. The hit BBC One dance contest returned to screens with week four on Saturday night (October 12).

Alongside Claudia Winkleman, the presenting duo were seen kicking things off as the 13 remaining couples were seen returning to the ballroom for their next live performance after an epic Movie Week special last weekend.

Morning Live's Dr Punam Krishan was riding high following her incredoble Bollywood-themed routine with Gorka Marquez as they made history with their couple's choice routine.

This weekend, Punam once again gave it everything she has got and she and Gorka danced to 2 Be Loved (Am I Ready) by Lizzo. Unfortunetly, they didn't manage to impress the judges as much as last week.

Both Motsi Mabuse and Shirley Ballas agreed that there were 'a lot of mistakes' in Punam's routine, but suggested that it could have been down to the pressure of doing so well last week, receiving a total of 20 points.

While fellow judge Anton Du Beke agreed, he made light of Punam's mistakes, before adding that he's looking forward to see her on the dance floor last week. Craig, however, didn't hold back as he called the routine 'sloppy', insisting that it wasn't Punam's night.

However, Tess looked a bit confused as the crowd began to share their disapproval of what he'd said to Punam. Tess commented: "Sorry Craig... I missed what you said at the end there Craig, sorry." The awkwarness continued as he then repeated: "Not your night I'm afraid my darling."

Realising what had been said, Tess quickly replied: "I rather wish I hadn't heard it... but I think we all loved it ladies and gentleman, didn't we? We really enjoyed it."

And it didn't take long for viewers to flock to social media. @BailzSmallwood said: "Tess making Craig say punam did bad TWICE, oh that's just CRUEL #strictly." @notthatpoppy fumed: "Now why the f**k did tess make him repeat that…? #Strictly." @WriterofQueen wrote: "Not Tess getting Craig to repeat 'Not your night' twice #Strictly #StrictlyComeDancing."

@buckstardis cried: "Tess nobody cares that you didn’t hear it why’d you have to make him say it again #strictly." @BadLipHotel added: "'We all loved it, didn't we ladies and gentlemen'. Tess, I know you're there to be encouraging, but read the room, that was horrendous to watch #Strictly."
