BBC Strictly Come Dancing fans 'work out' this year's winner after spotting clue
Strictly Come Dancing fans have predicted Tasha Ghouri is set to clinch the BBC contest after they spotted a significant hint. The dancing competition has made its grand return for 2024 following an electrifying launch show.
The familiar faces of hosts Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman are back to guide viewers through the excitement as 15 fresh pairings aim to dazzle their way to victory and claim the coveted Glitterball trophy.
In week one, the celebrities and their professional partners hit the dance floor for the first time, eager to secure their spot on the leaderboard with their debut performance. Tasha finds herself partnered with the talented pro dancer Aljaz Skorjanec, who has made his comeback to the Strictly stage. Their Cha Cha to Espresso by Sabrina Carpenter impressed head judge Shirley Ballas immensely, reports the Mirror.

Shirley, after offering her critique to Tasha, went on to say: "You're on your way to have one of the most spectacular leg actions I think I have ever seen on the show." Claudia described Shirley's praise as "extraordinary" while fans took to social media to forecast Tasha's triumph with the glitterball.
On X, one viewer enthused: "I loved Tasha. What a dance! #Strictly." Another was captivated, posting: "Tasha is SENSATIONAL #Strictly", and a third chimed in: "Tasha Ghouri was absolutely incredible on strictly, she is sooooo good #Strictly." Another fan predicted a bright future for the pair: "ALJAZ is back him and Tasha for the final #Strictly".
Although the judges will provide feedback and the celebrities will receive scores, no one will be eliminated in the first week. The real tension begins in week two when one celebrity will be sent home.
Audiences can get involved when the lines open next Saturday (September 28), with the series' first elimination airing the following night (Sunday, September 29). Tonight's show started at 7pm on BBC One, but there won't be a results show this weekend.
Currently leading the betting odds are X Factor winner Shayne Ward and JLS star JB Gill. However, former professional dancer Erin Boag has highlighted Miranda star Sarah Hadland as another contender to keep an eye on.
