BBC Strictly Come Dancing fans 'fuming' as favourite pro is axed
Strictly Come Dancing enthusiasts have expressed their frustration after a popular professional dancer didn't make the cut for this year's competition.
The esteemed BBC One programme sashayed back onto our screens on Saturday (September 14), launching its landmark 20th series with much fanfare. The ever-glamorous duo, Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman, returned to introduce a new line-up of 15 celebrities eager to hit the dance floor during the pre-recorded launch extravaganza.
Celebrities including JB Gill, Tasha Ghouri, and Nick Knowles are geared up to strut their stuff in hopes of securing their place in the finale and clinching the coveted Glitterball trophy.

The familiar faces of judges Shirley Ballas, Craig Revel Horwood, Motsi Mabuse, and Anton Du Beke also returned, ready to deliver their verdicts on the celebrity-pro pairings.
Despite the excitement, not every pro dancer has been paired up with a celebrity this season, notably Carlos Gu, a detail that has not gone unnoticed among fans, reports the Mirror.
Voicing their displeasure on social media platforms, one viewer vented on X: "Kai, Lauren and Carlos have all proven themselves to be great pros and most importantly, get on well with their celebrities. WHY are they the ones chosen to be benched? Making the series look even worse."
Another shared their dismay stating: "They dropped Carlos for goodness sake. Outrageous! I won't be watching."
Meanwhile, a third lamented: "It's an absolute liberty that Carlos and Kai haven't got a partner this year. Sorry I'm fuming."
