BBC Strictly Come Dancing fans in tears as star exits and say same thing
Strictly Come Dancing fans were in tears at the results tonight as the latest celebrity was sent home. After transforming into ghosts and ghouls for Halloween week, it was Shayne Ward and Nancy Xu and Dr Punam Krishan and Gorka Marquez who ended up in the dreaded dance-off.
And it was sadly Morning Live doctor Punam's turn to leave the BBC show as the judges unanimously chose to save former Coronation Street star Shayne Ward. Punam told the audience: "I am really proud of myself. I've taken on something that was so out of my comfort zone.
"The one thing I've very much learnt is to say yes more...I've learnt more than dancing." Turning to her partner Gorka, she said: "I've learnt so much from you. Everyone has been so incredible and it's memories I'll take on forever."

Gorka shared: "It's been incredible, it's been six weeks but it's been a fantastic six weeks." He said he was "proud of what she achieved" and also "proud we got to do a bollywood number and represent your culture".
Viewers were emotional to see the pair leave the competition, with many fans of Gorka in tears at the decision as they were desperate for him to stay on the show. They were especially gutted as last year he was eliminated second after being partnered with BBC Asian Network Radio Host Nikita Kanda.
One wrote: "I'm so sad to see Dr Punam and Gorka go [crying face emojis], I would have loved to see them again." A second said: "Noooooooooooo not Gorka!," with multiple crying face emojis.
Another fan shared: "Poor Gorka either gets so close to winning or only gets halfway. Gorka should of won the show least couple times in previous years really feel for Gorka." Another said: "For all us Gorka fans [crying emojis] we will miss you."
And a fifth added: "#Strictly Gutted for @gorkamarquez1 and Punam. They were in my fav too three. Shayne didn't really dance, just waved a wand and walked around. I did check the spoiler as usual this morn so I knew anyway. Thought Wynn should've been in bottom two with him even though I love Katya."
The judges unanimously voted to save Shayne and Nancy after the dance-off, despite all of them saying that Punam had improved and danced well. Anton said he though Punam's last dance was 'clean' but Shayne had 'danced a very strong performance'.
