BBC Strictly Come Dancing fans say 'I gasped' after heartbreaking mistake from Tasha Ghouri
BBC Strictly Come Dancing fans have rushed to support Tasha Ghouri after a devastating moment during her Musicals Week routine. During the quarter final, Love Island star Tasha sparked concern when viewers spotted a glaring error.
The mistake came during her and Aljaz Skorjanec's performance as they performed an Argentine Tango to Ex-Wives from Six. As she was spun to one side, the dancer's cochlear implant appeared to have fallen out of her ear.
Tasha was born deaf and received a cochlear implant—a small electronic device that helps her hear—when she was five years old. One Strictly Come Dancing fan typed: I gasped when I noticed Tasha’s cochlear implant came loose.

"I can’t imagine what that felt like both in the physical sensation but to knock your focus, but she kept going like it was nothing #strictly." Another commented: "Tasha’s cochlear implant coming out mid performance, her smoothly putting it back in and smashing a performance like that?! She is in a league of her own! Those legs #StrictlyComeDancing #Strictly."
A third gasped: "I didn't even notice omg. That makes that routine even more incredible. What a queen." A fourth added: "That must have been hard," while another said: "That's unfortunate." Meanwhile, discussing Chris McCausland, another fan said: "I genuinely have no idea how Chris learns the steps.
"Everyone else watches their partner and follows them. Then to see how they’re doing they watch video playback to see where their arms, etc are. For the jumps and lifts, the total trust he has in her to be there is truly staggering. He’s just incredible."
"Wasn't Danne's reaction at the end beautiful? I thoroughly enjoyed that. Loads of coverage of the floor, great characterisation and such fun overall. One of Chris' best," another agreed in response on social media on Saturday.
