Another week, another dreaded dance off looms for those fighting it out at the bottom of the pile. But, whether skill or the popularity vote hinders the mind-set of audiences up and down the country, someone has to go home.

It was another enchanting couple of hours seeing the blood, sweat and tears of the past week go into those stunning dancefloor performances. However, a couple of contestants were left lacking with mediocre displays on Saturday evening.

The results show broadcasts on Sunday but is pre-recorded on the Saturday night after the live show ends, meaning that the name of the axed star often leaks online. Yorkshire Live is aware of the celebrity's name, but won't be disclosing it.

For those who just couldn't wait to find out, they headed to the Strictly Spoiler website to find out what the audience mole reported back. And as usual, fans were up in arms at the result.

It was Montell and Jamie who faced the dance off and fans were not happy with the result. Reacting to the dance off result on X, Ryan Glendenning said: "Now I'm really shocked at this result. No way should [name 1] have left at this stage. The judges constantly marked them down every week and their [dance] was brilliant last night. Why is [name 2] still here? [name 1] had the potential to be a finalist."

Hutcherson Barlow added: "Gutted for them [who left] but they are what Strictly is supposed to be about, a non dancer learning to dance and love dance." But Charlotte looked at the positive side. She said: "At least they won't have to suffer the constant criticism from the judges anymore."

JE Strictly said: "[Name 1] was completely stitched up this week." Sharon said: "Blimey, why is [Name 2] still in? Time they went .. better dancers are leaving and [Name 2] shouldn’t have gone."
