BBC Strictly Come Dancing star breaks silence after learning co-star is 'in love with her'
A BBC Strictly Come Dancing star has broken her silence over claims of a romance with a co-star. Strictly Come Dancing star Jowita Przystal has issued an update amid her silence on a Pete Wicks relationship amid romance claims from eagle-eyed fans.
BBC pro Jowita addressed romance rumours with her celebrity partner Pete Wicks whilst attending the Mirror's the Pride of Britain Awards in London. Speaking to OK! magazine on the red carpet, she said: "We have very good chemistry together as friends, we really get on well with each other, and we have so much fun together.
"And dancing is a bit like acting, so we're telling a story every night on Saturday night, and I think we're doing a pretty good job with that so..." Jowita admitted: "But we're very good friends, and I love him so much as a brother, and I think we're going to stay friends for life, to be honest."

She said: "Don't tell Pete, but Sam is my favourite, I honestly love it when he comes round to the rehearsal room, he's such a ray of sunshine." Jowita added: "I always welcome him in, I absolutely adore this man, and I think him and Pete have such a beautiful relationship, their friendship is above and beyond.
"To have him and to have his support, he literally supports Pete all the way, so it's just so lovely to see that." The comments from Jowita come after Sam Thompson, Pete's podcast co-host, teased the Only Way Is Essex star "loved" the pro".
But in an update to the tabloids this week, Jowita clarified the pair's relationship amid swirling speculation. She said: "I'm always saying, 'Sam you're always welcome to come', I don't think Pete is on the same page, but I always welcome Sam."
She praised Pete's dedication saying that he's "taking the competition very seriously" as he "really wants to learn". Despite the seriousness, laughter is never too far away. "Although we have times when we just can't stop laughing, and we had that one today", said Jowita.
She said: "As you know, I love to put special things in our routine, so this week as well, something special is coming up."
