Anton Du Beke admits his life has been transformed after he became a dad aged 50. The Strictly Come Dancing judge, now 58, shares seven-year-old twins, George and Henrietta, with wife Hannah Summers.

The happy family live in Buckhamshire. But their journey to having a family wasn't easy, with Anton making a heartbreaking admission about his wife 'suffering all of her life' with a cruel health condition that impacts her fertility. On Giovanna Fletcher's Happy Mum Happy Baby podcast, Anton previously revealed the pair didn’t believe they would be able to have children.

The professional dancer opened up on their struggles and IVF journey, saying: "I knew I wanted to be with her, I saw her with her nephews. She's so kind and so caring, I just couldn't understand the universe. And whoever is upstairs, if anyone's upstairs, looking down and going, 'you are the most perfect person to have children, but I'm not going to let you have any children because I'm going to give you this'.

"And I'm going to say 'you're going to have this endometriosis, and you're going to suffer with this all of your life, chronically, and I'm not going to let you have any children.”

Anton and Hannah married in 2017 after dating for six years. She amazingly became pregnant just three months into her IVF treatment.

The Strictly Come Dancing star shared he had known she was the one right away. Speaking on Channel 4 show Steph's Packed Lunch, he said: "I knew almost immediately that I loved her. She also loved me immediately, although I was holding a bottle of wine!"
