BBC Strictly Come Dancing star set to leave show for good after 'being given death slot'
BBC Strictly Come Dancing viewers say a star's exit has been "sealed" after they were given the "death slot" on tonight's live quarter final. BBC viewers speculated Montell Douglas and Johannes Radebe were put in the 'death slot' on the show on November 30.
Viewers say the second slot, after the opening act, is the 'death slot' and having to follow up Sarah Hadland, viewers reckon the BBC Gladiators star is in trouble. "Montell doing the rumba in the death spot… the producers could not be more obvious that they want her gone #strictly," one Strictly Come Dancing fan wrote.
And a second added: "Not another death slot rumba… no! All of us Montell & Johannes fans need to mass vote this week #strictly." A third penned: "they’ve only gone and put montell in the death slot with a rumba… #strictly."

And another typed: "Oh they are setting her up to fail. The worst style of dance…. #strictly." A fifth wrote: "Hope Montell does well, usually rumba is what people go out on." JLS star JB Gill and professional dancer Lauren Oakley will perform a Viennese waltz to Let’s Go Fly A Kite from Mary Poppins, while reality star Pete Wicks and Jowita Przystal will waltz to Somewhere from West Side Story.
Also on the show, Olympian Montell and Johanneswill rumba to I’m Here from The Colour Purple, while comedian Chris McCausland and Dianne Buswell will dance the quickstep to You’re The Top from Anything Goes. The professional dancers will open Saturday’s show with a number from Little Shop Of Horrors.
During Sunday’s results programme there will be a special performance of The Schuyler Sisters from the musical Hamilton and a dance from the professionals to a song from Sunset Boulevard. Strictly Come Dancing airs from 7.05pm on Saturday and is also available on BBC iPlayer.
