BBC Strictly Come Dancing viewers 'concerned' over JLS star's icy reaction to JB Gill
BBC Strictly Come Dancing viewers have been left confused by a JLS star's icy reaction to JB Gill's ongoing stint on the show. The JLS bandmates were seen backstage supporting JB, who visited them during a VT alongside pro partner Lauren Oakley.
But while Aston Merrygold seemed chuff to see him, fans were left somewhat puzzled by Oritse Williams' cold response. Taking to Twitter, now X, one BBC Strictly Come Dancing fan wrote: "Aston and Marvin proper buzzing for JB in his strictly vt. Then you get oritse….."
And another typed: "Does Oritsé not talk anymore?!" a A third quizzed : "Why is Oritsé getting sidelined? #JLS #Strictly #BBCOne." And another asked: "Is Oritsé under contract to another TV company or something? Is he no longer allowed to speak on camera?"

Another fan wrote on X: "It could not be more obvious that 2 of these members absolutely hate each other." And one responded to write: "right, I’m not a JLS fan but form the outside looking in, is it Aston & Oritse? because that VT was awkward."
After Amy Dowden’s departure JB, 37, was given a new partner Lauren, 33, who hadn’t been paired with a celebrity for this series, although she had taken part in group dances. Both Lauren and JB made sure to recognise Amy and all the hard work she’d already invested before embarking on their own journey together.
One performance in particular has had fans heaping praise on the new couple. Following their Samba to Mas Que Nada by Sergio Mendes, they earned a standing ovation with judge Anton Du Beke left blown away. "I am stunned, stunned," he declared. "Last week you did your couple’s choice and I said: 'Please can you bring this moving forward? Just bring it and stick it on another dance.' Man alive, did you bring it!"
