BBC Strictly Come Dancing viewers rush to demand '10 point deduction' for star
BBC Strictly Come Dancing fans have rushed to demand a 10-point DEDUCTION for Sarah Hadland. BBC Miranda star Sarah opened tonight's Musicals Week special with her pro partner Vito Coppola on Saturday, November 30, as they appeared in the Quarter Final.
But as Sarah and Vito vied for a spot in the semis next week, fans were left divided by the performance. The pair performed a Wicked-themed Charleston to the iconic song Popular, but viewers at home were left jokingly demanding a "10-point deduction" after what one described as a "messy" routine.
One Strictly Come Dancing fan joked on X: "Can we introduce an automatic 10-point deduction for cringey talky bits at the beginning of routines?" A second commented: "It was a bit messy by their standards." Another asked "Surely that's a 40? That routine was perfect."

Another chimed in: "Sarah and Vito opening the show dancing their Charleston to Popular from Wicked was absolutely brilliant and can we just talk about the lifts, they were amazing. The trust they have in each other is so good to watch. and loved seeing the Miranda cast in the audience."
Another viewer said: "Let’s all collectively agree Sarah and Vito deserved the full 40 for this dance, she smashed it." Praising fellow contestant JB Gill tonight, another fan said: "That was joyful - JB and Lauren flew across the floor and it looked beautiful. Great music for a Viennese waltz. Made me wish I could dance and swirl around the dance floor with JB. (instead of waiting for two knee replacements !)."
Discussing Sarah, another typed: “Maybe I’m being grumpy but too many lifts for me, Geoff.” Another wrote: “Oh, what fun! Incredible lifts and I didn’t see Sarah put a foot wrong. Vito looks so proud of her.” And a third said: “Ooh, that dance from Sarah and Vito made me happy.
"She seemed totally in control, the spotlight was on her and that could have been straight from the stage show. Great start to the show! I’ve already forgotten the pros’ dance.”
