BBC Strictly Come Dancing Wynne Evans exit 'sealed' as he's dealt blow after sharing 'struggle'
Excitement is building ahead of tonight's episode of Strictly Come Dancing. Saturday's episode of the BBC contest will be broadcast from the iconic Blackpool Tower Ballroom.
Blackpool Week is one of the highlights of the Strictly calendar and is the only show of the season when the programme entirely relocates from its traditional studio in London. The Blackpool Tower Ballroom is renowned for its unique sprung dancefloor and Wynne Evans is hoping he can use this to his advantage.
The singer, renowned for his appearance on the Go Compare advert, is competing with Katya Jones on the latest season of the BBC show. The two are dancing the Charleston to Carmen Suite No.1: 5.Les toréadors by Georges Bizet.
Wynne is hoping the springy dancefloor will help with the performance as he admitted learning the routine has been difficult. On It Takes Two, the 52-year-old said: "I am hoping this bouncy floor will help this larger lady bounce like mad with the Charleston.

He added: "I think it is going to help me with the swivel. I have been struggling with that if I am honest because like, I am 18 stone, so it is hard to jump up and down for eight hours a day in rehearsal. My legs are in bits."
However, the bookies are not so convinced as Wynne has been dealt a blow as he is still the overwhelming favourite to next be eliminated. Grosvenor Sports has the radio presenter as the 3/5 favourite to be voted out next.
A spokesperson for the bookmarkers said: "We're at the halfway point of the series, and the remaining eight Strictly couples will battle it out on the dancefloor at the iconic Blackpool Tower Ballroom. As the competition continues, the harder it’s going to get for the celebrities.”
“Wynne Evans is our firm-favourite to be eliminated Strictly this weekend, priced at 3/5. Wynne has been in the danger zone for a few weeks now and was saved by the judges after he landed himself in the bottom two last weekend.”

Former Strictly winner Ola Jordan agrees Wynne could be a danger as she offered her verdict. The former professional has been issuing her verdict on this season of the show in partnership with Mecca Bingo.
She said: "I think Wynne and Montell [Douglas] will be in the bottom two this weekend, or Wynne and possibly Jamie.”
“I don’t think Pete Wicks will be in the bottom two yet, but he’s got a tricky dance so he might not do that well. I’m still thinking he’s going to get votes though so for me, Wynne and Montell or Wynne and Jamie will be in the bottom two this weekend.”
