BBC Strictly Come Dancing's Chris McCausland's brilliant response after married celeb reveals crush
Strictly Come Dancing contestant Chris McCausland has issued a brilliant response after a married celebrity revealed their burning crush on the blind comedian. It comes after the big star was rather taken with Chris in his matador-inspired costume for his latest dance on the hit BBC dancing show with partner Dianne Buswell.
Peep Show star David Mitchell's wife Victoria Coren Mitchell, who hosts quiz show Only Connect, took to X, formerly Twitter, with a heated message calling Chris 'sexy' after tuning in for his performance. She posted: "Look, I am a happily married woman. But I’m finding @chrismccausland very sexy in the paso doble. And YES. I DID copy in his screen name. Just so he knows, Chris, if it all goes wrong ……"
Janette Manrara addressed the spicy message as Chris appeared on Strictly Come Dancing spin-off show It Takes Two on BBC Two on Thursday night. Asking Chris for his response, he didn't disappoint.

He said: "Well Victoria it was just a regular Saturday." He then revealed he had replied to Victoria's post.
Chris cheekily joked: "I did actually reply to her on that. I saw that come in and I replied to her and said 'I'll keep the costume, just in case'."
Chris has been married to wife Patricia for around 16 years. They live in London with their daughter Sophie.
Patricia, a psychologist by profession, appeared with Chris on David Mitchell's Outsiders, hosted by Alan Davies. Chris and Patricia famously had a moment of contention when asked: 'On a scale of 1 to 10 how happy are you in your relationship?'
Patricia ended up storming off the set after Chris would only match her answer. Patricia confidently answered: "I'll go for a good, solid nine and a half. And that's not to say I don't feel like it's a ten. I just feel there's always room for improvement, because we've got that winning mentality and that's why we're here."
But this response seemed to surprise Chris, leading him to ask: "You'd go nine and a half? " Encouraging honesty, Patricia prompted him with, "Alright, well, go on.."
Chris, however, decided to match his wife's score, saying: "Yeah nine and a half."
