BBC Strictly Come Dancing's Dianne Buswell supported over illness admission in joint Chris McCausland message
Dianne Buswell has revealed she was unwell during her latest Strictly Come Dancing performance after being struck down the evening before a crucial weekend in the ballroom.
It was reported that the dancer was ill and unable to take part in final rehearsals ahead of her and celebrity dance partner Chris McCausland's epic performance last Saturday night (November 9).
Now, Dianne has confirmed she was ill as she took to the dancefloor. The pair had viewers in tears and were heavily praised as they returned to the ballroom last Saturday night (November 9) where they performed their couple’s choice routine to Instant Karma! (We All Shine On) by John Lennon.

They closed week eight of the BBC One dance contest with the impressive jazz-inspired performance featuring a "poignant" blackout moment, imitating Chris' own experience with blindness, with him since saying it was to put viewers in the dark and be surprised by what they saw afterwards - which was an epic spin in which Dianne laid across his shoulders.
The unexpected performance received rapturous applause from the audience and a score of 33 out of a possible 40 points from the four judges - Craig Revel Horwood, Motsi Mabuse, Shirley Ballas and Anton Du Beke.
It was later confirmed during Sunday night's (November 10) results show that Chris and Dianne had made it through to week nine of the competition, which just so happens to be Strictly's annual Blackpool special and will see the eight remaining couples perform live in the iconic Tower Ballroom.
But after some absence from offering updates on social media, Chris and Dianne returned on Wednesday (November 13) and explained all. in their 'CHRIS’S DIAnneRIES' video series.
After Chris asked Dianne why they were a day late sharing the first update of the week, the Australian star admitted: "I wasn't very well" before Chris added "I was going to say because we were working really hard." She went on to share: "I wasn't very well on Friday, I wasn't very well Saturday, Sunday was a write off and Monday I still wasn't very well."
Discussing the lead up to last weekend, Dianne shared she had a stomach bug and she didn't have a good night on Friday before their latest performance, Chris hailed her for pushing through but Dianne told him: " Full marks to you for helping me through it. You did carry me through that."
The pair went on to thank their fans for their support as they looked ahead to the next round of the competition, week nine, which is the annual Blackpool week. The comedian then asked if Blackpool is all it is cracked up to be to which Dianne told him he was going to "bloody love it".
And fans were quick to show their support and praise Dianne for carrying on despite being poorly. @biddieeeboo said: "You are true professional’s “the show must go on” wow well done performing being so sick x sending love and wellness and here’s to an epic time in Blackpool baby."
@dianne_joe_suggwell commented: "Awww love you two! Glad you’re feeling better Di!
