BBC Strictly Come Dancing's Jamie Borthwick accused of 'cheating' by two co-stars
Strictly Come Dancing star Jamie Borthwick was jokingly accused of 'cheating' on the BBC show as he came under fire from two of his co-stars on the launch show. The EastEnders actor was teased as a "cheat" due to winning last year's Strictly Christmas special alongside Nancy Xu.
Host Tess remarked to Jamie: "Jamie you had a taste of Strictly last Christmas," which prompted castmate Wynne Evans to humorously butt in, jesting: "Cheat!" followed by a cough.
The comment sparked laughter from both the studio audience and an embarrassed-looking Jamie, whilst Tess attempted to swiftly change the topic. It wasn't the only bit of flack Jamie received from his co-stars as former TOWIE star Pete Wicks also commented on his previous win.

Pete said: "I'm never going to be back here again, unless I'm Jamie." Presenter Claudia Winkleman burst into laughter, replying: "That is brilliant."
Fans took to X to comment. One wrote: "Me and my mum are dying of laughter when Wynne saying "cheat" while Jamie was talking." Another chimed in, suggesting: "Jamie getting the 'cheat' card [along with Shayne and JB surely?"
Jamie has been paired with pro Amy Dowden, who missed out on the show last year after being diagnosed with cancer. Amy, 34, only danced in some group numbers as she faced grueling chemotherapy sessions in Birmingham. Fortunately, things have been looking up for Amy as she was informed that there was no evidence of cancer in her body after undergoing surgery.
