Strictly Come Dancing's Katya Jones has confessed her concerns about running out of time to start a family. The 35 year old professional dancer, who is currently single, hinted that while she feels 'happy and fulfilled' on her own, her single status does make her ponder over her 'maternal clock'.

Speaking on Aimee Fuller's Monday Mile podcast, she said: "Yes. Modern females of our age, we can have careers, pursue our passions. Be happy and fulfilled on our own. However, on the other side, it doesn't stop our maternal clock or our ageing process, unfortunately. So how do you balance those two things?"

During a recent Q&A session on Instagram, Katya confirmed her relationship status when a fan asked if there was a special man in her life. The Strictly star, who joined the show in 2016, simply replied: "NO."

In July 2023, The Sun exclusively reported that Katya was dating property tycoon William Abbotts, with the pair enjoying cosy dinner dates near his home. However, just three months later, the couple decided to part ways.

An insider close to the Russian-born dancer, who was partnered with actor Nigel Harman, 50, on Strictly last year, revealed: "The union ran its course. Katya is single and focusing on the dance competition.

"She knows she has a strong chance of making it to the final this year. She doesn't want any distractions."

Katya was previously wedded to fellow Strictly dancer Neil Jones for six years. Neil is now in a relationship with Love Island star Chyna Mills and they have a daughter named Havana.
