BBC Strictly Come Dancing's Katya Jones demands Wynne Evans shows 'gratitude' after backlash
BBC Strictly Come Dancing star Wynne Evans has risked the wrath of viewers - with a cheeky comment alongside pro partner Katya Jones, weeks on from THAT fiery 'grope' scandal. The GoCompare crooner and pro Katya ignored the backlash ahead of the show in Blackpool tonight.
During their Instagram Story, the pair were seen riding on a seaside toy in the North West town, which was an illuminated seahorse. Wynne joked: "Well it was meant to be a horse but turns out it's a unicorn."
Katya then said: "Be grateful you got that on budget." Wynne, who hails from Wales, laughed: "Cost me 7 quid on the promenade that." Earlier this week, fans had been anticipating the appearance of Wynne alongside his dance partner Katya on Wednesday's edition of BBC Two show It Takes Two.

Moments into the programme, former Strictly Come Dancing pro and now It Takes Two presenter Janette Manrara had to break the news to viewers that these plans had changed. "If you've got any questions like, 'Why are Chris and Dianne on when yesterday we said it was going to be Wynne and Katya? ' It's live TV, guys. You've got to roll with it, alright? Just roll with it," she said.
Last Sunday evening, Wynne faced his first dance-off challenge, going head-to-head with Shayne Ward, leaving the judges visibly split on who deserved to continue in the competition. Craig Revel Horwood and Motsi Mabuse chose to save Shayne, while Anton Du Beke was in favour of saving Wynne.
The decision ultimately fell to head judge Shirley Ballas who opted to save Wynne and Katya. After his exit, former Coronation Street star Shayne said: "I just want to say, you guys up there [the other contestants] are a dream. Every single day, coming in here and seeing you guys you helped me so much."
