BBC Strictly Come Dancing's Nadiya Bychkova and Tom Dean 'comforting each other' after break-ups

Following her split from fellow Strictly pro Kai Widdrington, Nadiya Bychkova is reportedly finding solace in the company of dance partner Tom Dean. The 35 year old stunner has been spotted on lunch dates with the Olympic swimmer, who insiders claim has been her "rock".

Nadiya also spent an evening out at Bocconcino restaurant in London's Mayfair with Tom, 24, and his sister Connie this past Wednesday. After a two-year relationship, the Ukrainian dancer parted ways with Kai, 29, back in July.

In a similar vein, Tom ended his relationship with girlfriend Charlotte Phillips just weeks into the current series, where he was the first star to be voted off. An insider revealed: "Nadiya and Tom have comforted each other following their break-ups.

"They both love golf and have been going for lunches after their early Strictly exit. Nadiya and Tom were both gutted that they didn't go further in the competition, but have been able to get to know each other away from the dance floor."

They added: "Nadiya has always said that Tom is a complete gentleman. He's been a rock to her since she split from Kai."

During their night out, Nadiya was seen showing Tom and his sister an X-ray of her broken thumb, which she injured during rehearsals. The 35 year old Ukrainian professional dancer had fallen while practicing for a group routine and landed on her hand.

Immediate medical attention was provided by the on-site medics but an X-ray confirmed she had suffered a fracture. But she has continued to perform in group routines on the BBC show.
