BBC Strictly Come Dancing's Pete Wicks says 'Strictly changes you' as fans taken aback
BBC Strictly Come Dancing returned this evening with the professionals and celebrities ready to take over Blackpool. Television personality Pete Wicks delivered a sensual cha cha performance but left audience members and the judges with no where to look.
The star's routine was set to I'm Too Sexy by Right Said Fred. Pete emerged from the stage in a large navy trench coat before throwing it aside in favour of a sheer pink shirt and luminous pink pleather pants.
Pete and his dance partner, Jowita Przystał, covered every inch of the Blackpool ballroom. However, Pete's pink pants stole the show with the judge's unable to focus on the routine.

Through laughter, head judge Shirley Ballas said: "I'll calm myself down. You had some very clear lines. Your hips were swinging left and right. I don't think I'll ever forget this evening for as long as I live."
Anton Du Beke said: "[When you came past the wall] all I could see was left cheek, right cheek. [Shirley] hasn't been the same since. I was mesmerised - hypnotised by it."
Craig Revel Harwood delivered a more direct comment, stating: "The trousers are quite shocking." Pete addressed the pants himself by joking: "When people say Strictly changes you I imagine this is not what they thought I'd end up as."
Viewers at home were also taken aback by the look. X user Norfolktea said: "Crying with laughter at that routine (Pete & Jowita)."
Amy Jo Says said: "Pete Wicks has been royally stitched up with this week's song and costume! A bit of a shame to go back to silly after his couple's choice." Chloe Toye said: "I don't know where to look."
Teenamassam said: "Never would have imagined Pete wearing pink pvc trousers, ever. Am I wrong to say not much dancing but I loved it…" Rebecca Wood said: "I really didn’t know where to look watching Pete & Jowita."
