BBC Strictly Come Dancing's Sarah Hadland declares love for Vito Coppola after 'gift from the heart'

Strictly Come Dancing fans were in stitches as Sarah Hadland declared her love for Vito Coppola. The two are competing for the Glitterball on the latest season of the BBC contest.

The partnership will dance a Viennese Waltz to “Hedwig’s Theme” from Harry Potter on Movie Week. They have taken to social media to issue a joint update as they enjoyed a well deserved break from training.

The TV star revealed Vito had brought her a present during this week's training. The two created a comedy skit to show off the new item.

In the clip that was posted on both their Instagram accounts, Vito said: "Today is a very magical day. People appear like mushrooms." Sarah emerged from underneath a table in their dressing room and said: "Vito has brought me a Witches Cup, not a euphemism."

Sarah was in stitches as Vito asked to clarify what she meant by a euphemism. She erupted into laughter when the dancer revealed he purchased the mug from Asda.

She said: "Oh my God Vito, I love you. I thought it was from your heart. But from Asda is fine." Vito corrected himself and joked the gift did indeed "come from the heart".

Fans took to the comments to praise the partnership after the update. Kirsty said: "I LOVE YOU TWO! Vito asking what a euphemism is and trying to say it got me, bless him."

Sandy commented: "Vito is hilarious, he needs his own show! This partnership is great." Kimberley added: "Aww bless him trying saying euphemism love Vito you'll be one's to watch again this year"

Kyra posted: "I’m crying! Please tell Vito what a euphemism is!" Alison commented: "Omg.. I crying… with laughter… you two are amazing!!!"

Vito is aiming to replicate his success last year when he won the Glitterball with Ellie Leach. The two formed a strong bond and are still close friends away from the screen.

Ellie took to social media last week to mark Vito's birthday as she sent a special message to mark the personal update. She said: "Happy birthday to the light of my life. Hope your day is as special as you are to me. I love you so much. Stay groovy, love you always."

The dancer took to Instagram today and admitted he had forgotten his birthday. However, he fortunately had co-star, Dianne Buswell, on hand to remind him as she she left a special present in his dressing room. Vito shared a clip of the haul of sweet treats with the caption: "Good morning.

"I forgot that today it's my birthday. To find this surprise in my changing room has been heartwarming. Thank you gorgi @diannebuswell for just being amazing as always. Love you so much."
