BBC Strictly Come Dancing's Stacey Dooley supported by Kevin Clifton after career update
Stacey Dooley thrilled fans with an exciting career update. The television presenter has teased fans that a new documentary is soon on the way.
The 37-year-old shared the update with her 1.2m Instagram followers as she shared a still from an interview during the editing process. She said: "I’m SO v excited for this one! Ta SO much girls. And well done to Anna and Flo, the duo who make it all happen. It’s gonna be a GOODIE."
It is the second update in the past week as Stacey issued a short message to fans to confirm a number of new documentaries will arrive on our screens soon. The investigative reporter remained tight lipped on the specific subject matter she will be tackling but confirmed a number of projects are close to being completed.
In a message from her car, she said: "I am on my way to work for a couple of days filming. I think you're going to love these girls that we're filming with.

She added: "I'm doing another film about something entirely different and I've got really interesting characters. I've been working on another project, a two parter that I started when I was a couple of months pregnant.
"My little girl is 20 months, which gives you an indication of how long this one's been going on for. But it's really important, really insightful, really bleak at times but really necessary - so that's what's happening. I can't wait for you to see them all.
Away from the screen, Stacey is in a happy relationship with professional dancer, Kevin Clifton. The couple met when they were partnered together on the 16th season of Strictly Come Dancing and went on to lift the Glitterball.
They are still together now and are the proud parents of Minnie, who was welcomed into the world last year. Stacey's has been off our screens since her documentary, Sleeps Over USA, and Kevin is excited for her next project. He took to the comments after her latest Instagram post and said: "Can’t wait to watch."
Kevin told the ECHO in an exclusive interview how the family have recently relocated to Liverpool. Stacey's mum is originally from Liverpool and Kevin explained they decided to move up north so Minnie could be closer to her nan.
The couple took just moments to decide their new home in Merseyside as Kevin told the ECHO: "Stacey loves looking at houses on the internet. Looking at interiors and stuff is her favourite thing to do.
"She just happened to have seen something she liked and thought 'oh it's not too far away from my mum'. We went and had a look and the second she walked in was like 'I love it and I can really see us living here'. It all happened really quickly and we love it." He added: "Our little girl is going to be raised as a Scouser."

Kevin exited Strictly in 2019 to focus on his career and he is now juggling his professional life as musical theatre performer with family life. He told the ECHO in April: "Stacey's working on all different things and I've got my theatre stuff so we're just trying to balance it all the best we can while looking after Minnie, whose now one, which just feels ridiculous."
Kevin is a big Scunthorpe United fan but said Stacey's influence as Reds' supporter may win out on their daughter as he laughed: "My instinct is she's not going to be a Scunny fan but I'm going to try my best.
"She's already got the Liverpool kit and I've got a feeling that's going to happen. But her great grandad is an Everton fan so it's a big fight in the family of who's going to claim Minnie's football team."
