BBC Strictly Come Dancing's Vito Coppola and Sarah Hadland announcement leaves fans saying 'OMG'

Vito Coppola and Sarah Hadland's latest announcement has left fans exclaiming 'OMG' as they prepare for another week in Strictly Come Dancing.

The pair are back in rehearsals for week nine of the BBC One dance contest after they were seen putting on another great performance in the ballroom over the weekend. On Saturday night (September 9), they performed the American Smooth to Proud by Heather Small, a song which Sarah's character often sang in the hit BBC comedy show, Miranda.

They were awarded 33 out of a possible 40 points by the judges, who appeared to have mixed opinions with Craig Revel Horwood criticising Hadland’s hand positions and Shirley Ballas asking her to focus on "neater, smaller details".

Despite this, the judges also had some positives with Craig saying: "The cartwheel, darling, into that lift was spectacular." But it was the judges' tough critique of Sarah and Vito's latest routine that left viewers disappointed as well as their choice of score.

But with the performance done and their place in the competition secured as it enters week nine this Saturday (November 16) in Blackpool, Sarah and Vito have revealed what's next.

Appearing on It Takes Two on Monday (November 11), it was revealed that the actress and the Italian dancer will be performing a couple's choice routine in the iconic Tower Ballroom during Strictly's annual special in the seaside town to pop Princess herself Kyle Minogue.

Confirming they'll be performing to Kylie's newer hit, Padam Padam, Vito was excited to reveal to It Takes Two host Fleur East what fans can expect to see: "The style is Fosse-inspired..." He went on to explain that while they'll be some traditional elements, they'll also be adding a modern twist which will bring those watching back and forth between the two times.

He also confirmed the news on social media. Sharing a video of himself and Sarah strutting down the corridor of the It Takes Two studio in matching khaki green outfits, Vito said: "Tonight It Takes Two. Let’s channel the energy of @kylieminogue for this week. It’s Blackpool. In this week let’s study Bob Fosse #teamtiramisu."

And fans were thrilled with the update - including Kylie herself who replied: "Yaaaassss!!!" @karldennissgray said: "VITO AND KYLIE. MY TWO FAVE THINGS." @lis.th commented: "Vito and Sarah are going to smash couples choice, I’m so excited to see you dance at Blackpool. It’s going to be amazing."
