BBC Strictly Come Dancing's Wynne Evans in tears as he's supported by co-stars after sad loss
Strictly Come Dancing's Wynne Evans has been flooded with messages of support after he confirmed his brother had died. The 52-year-old competed on the last season of the BBC contest alongside Katya Jones.
The two are set to reprise their partnership on the upcoming live tour, which gets underway this month. The singer, renowned for his role on the Go Compare adverts, has been sharing updates from rehearsals on his Instagram profile with his 105,000 followers.
However, he has taken to the social media platform today to share some sad news as he revealed the sad death of his brother, Huw. He shared a series of snaps alongside his relative alongside a tearful emoji.

He captioned the post: "I’m so sad to say that my gorgeous eldest brother has passed away. My big brother was my hero and my inspiration. Huw my darling I will miss you so much and am so glad I got to have you with me all my life."
Wynne's Strictly co-stars took to the comments to share messages of support after the sad update. Amy Dowden said: "Sending you so much love Wynne."
Dr Punam Krishan, who also competed on this season of Strictly said: "I’m so sorry to read this news. Sending you and your family lots of love."
Dancers Kai Widdrington and Carlos Gu also shared messages of support. Fans and followers also took to the comments to offer their condolences.
