BBC Strictly result spoiler leaked leaving fans shocked at couples in dance off
Fans have been left shocked after the Strictly Come Dancing result was leaked ahead of tonight's show. While MyLondon won’t be naming the contestant supposed to be leaving, there are online reports stating who has danced for the last time.
Viewers took to X to voice their shock over the surprise results. One user posted to X: “Blimey. Did not see one of those coming at all.” Another said: “There were so many others who should have been in the dance off instead of them.”
However others were not quite as surprised by the result. One said: “I liked them very much, but it's the right result. A bit surprised at the other couple in the dance off, but Strictly is a strong line up overall this year.”

Each week Strictly is split into two separate shows - on Saturday night the contestants perform, and on Sunday night is the results show and elimination. Almost every week the results are leaked by ‘spoiler’ accounts on X, who race to be the first to break the news as the elimination show is actually filmed on Saturday night directly after the live show.
This week saw Wynne Evans and Katya Jones perform a ‘beautiful’ and bouncy quickstep, with the couple dancing to Mr Blue Sky by Electric Light Orchestra. Their return to BBC One follow’s controversy last week over a joke made by Evans that saw Jones remove her partner's hand from her waist.
On Strictly’s It Takes Two Jones addressed the incident saying: “Can I please first get something out of the way that I feel like overshadowed our performance for absolutely no reason, and quite frankly I cannot bear sitting here watching this man being portrayed as someone he’s not.”
“This whole incident with the hand and the high five on Saturday night, it was an inside joke between Wynne and I. Was it a silly joke? Yes. Was it a bad joke? Yes.”
However the couple seems to have overcome the controversy, with judge Anton Du Beke telling them ‘it’s a lovely show when you dance’, while Motsi Mabuse called their routine ‘exquisite’. Head judge Shirley Ballas added that it was ‘joyous, you moved beautifully.'
In usual fashion, Craig Revel Horwood took a slightly more critical view, calling the dance 'dishevelled in places’. However, the couple was still awarded a respectable score of 33 points.
Coming in top of the leader board last week were EastEnders actor Jamie Borthwick and Olympian Montell Douglas, both on 39 points. Both have been high scorers throughout the show so far.
Borthwick and partner Michelle Tsiakkas performed a matador-inspired paso doble to flamenco song Malaguena by Ernesto Lecuna. Meanwhile Douglas and Johannes Radebe performed a carnival-inspired couple’s choice to Skeleton Move by KG and Zanda Zakuza.
Coming in bottom of the leader board was former footballer turned pundit Paul Merson, with just 19 points. He was followed by Morning Live doctor Punam Krishan, with 21 points.
TV personality Pete Wicks also received a low score of 22, with Craig Revel Horwood telling them their lifts were ‘totally illegal’ and that in a competition there could have been ‘disqualified’.
