BBC Strictly star shares 'beautiful exchange between Prince Louis and sister
Prince Louis won even more admirers on a trip to the Strictly Come Dancing studios. The prince himself seems to be a big admirer of his older sister, Princess Charlotte, so much that he wants everything she has.
In a delightful revelation, it was disclosed that Princess Kate took her two youngest, Louis and Charlotte, for a covert visit to Elstree Studios in December 2023 to see where the magic happens on the popular BBC show Strictly Come Dancing. Head judge Shirley Ballas recounted the Royal visit, sharing an endearing story about the siblings.
"They are beautiful. When they visited we had these crowns on set, so I thought it would be a nice idea to give the little girl a crown and I got him a nice box of sweets," Shirley told the Sun. "Then he went, 'I want one of those' and pointed at the crown.

"So, we had to go and find him a little crown. They're beautifully polite children. They had an absolute ball."
She added: "We have photos, but I didn't want to post them. I think it's more private for her. I was just glad she was able to come in and have a great day. They all watch Strictly."
This isn't the first instance of Louis emulating his sister. Prince William recently mentioned that Louis has taken to wearing Princess Charlotte's jewellery.
The doting father has also shared before how Louis likes to shadow his sister during their morning routine.
"One of the songs that the children are loving at the moment is Shakira, Waka Waka. There's a lot of hip movements going along. There's a lot of dressing up," he said. "Charlotte, particularly, is running around the kitchen in her dresses and ballet stuff and everything. She goes completely crazy with Louis following her around trying to do the same thing."
The Wales family isn't the only bunch smitten with the glitz of Strictly and it appears one Royal has even expressed a desire to strut their stuff on the show's shiny dance floor. Never one to shirk from a daring endeavour, Princess Anne has let slip to pro dancer Nadiya Bychkova that she'd jump at the chance to grace the BBC programme with her presence, adding yet another feather to her cap of lifetime accomplishments.
Queen Camilla too harbours a fondness for the hit series, joining the late Queen Elizabeth II in their shared appreciation for the beloved TV contest. The Duchess confirmed Her Majesty was quite taken with Strictly so much so, the royals threw their support behind 2021 champs Rose Ayling-Ellis and Giovanni Pernice by casting their vote.
It's noteworthy that Camilla and Charles encountered Rose during a trip to EastEnders HQ, when they mingled with the cast. As per Mail Online reports, Camilla didn't hold back in lauding Rose for her sensational performance on Strictly, which included a poignant silent piece meant to pay homage to the BSL- using community.
According to reports, when the duo met, Camilla remarked: "Rose, the Strictly star. I said we were all voting for Rose, I don't know how you did all those dances."
To which Rose asked: "Can I ask you, does the Queen watch Strictly Come Dancing? " "I think she does," responded Camilla. "She probably watched you."
Rose was visibly surprised by the high praise.
She later commented: "It was really funny because she's a huge fan of Strictly Come Dancing and she mentioned that she voted for me which is so lovely, and her grandchildren watch it. It is amazing, so lovely. I mean come on, it's the Royal family voting for me, sometimes you forget how many people watch the show, I am mind-blown."
