BBC Strictly's Janette Manrara 'picks bone' with Chris McCausland as studio gasps at controversial comment
Strictly Come Dancing star Chris McCausland was taken to task by Janette Manrara over a contraversial comment on the results show. Host of spin-off show It Takes Two Janette told blind comedian Chris she had a 'bone to pick' with him after he gave a dim view of musicals on Sunday night.
Chris had told viewers he thought musicals were 'absolutely pointless' on this week's BBC show. He said: "Musicals, I think they're absolutely pointless.

Chris defended his comment, telling her: "You know what, if I wasn't allowed to exagerate my stupid opinions for a laugh there would be no such thing as comedy. I'm a stand up comedian.
"I say stupid things and I say them to get a laugh. I'm not a musical theatre fan, but I do like the kids ones."
Speaking about his song for Strictly Come Dancing musicals week, Chris added: "But I do like this. I like music that sounds of an era...it's been really good, it's been such a joyful, happy song."
