Beach Closed in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, as Hurricane Willa Nears

Large waves crashed against the shoreline in Jalisco on Tuesday, October 23, as the Mexican state braced for the impact of Hurricane Willa.

The state of Jalisco was among five Mexican states under a blue storm alert issued by Mexico’s National System of Civil Protection (SINAPROC), El Universal reported. Up to 150 mm of rain was forecast to hit some areas.
