The Bear has confirmed the release window for its fourth season, confirming the news with brand new footage.

The comedy-drama, which airs on Hulu and Disney+, follows Carmy Berzatto (Jeremy Allen White) as he returns to his hometown of Chicago following the death of his brother, who leaves him his sandwich shop.

Following three acclaimed seasons, fans are eagerly anticipating the follow-up, and Disney+ has now confirmed - via a video which showcased the slate - that it will be released on the service in 2025.

Whilst the fourth season isn’t due to be released until next year, Liza Colón-Zayas - who plays Tina Marrero on the show - recently expressed her desire for the series to run long into the future, proclaiming that she wanted at least “five more seasons.”

“I would love to see the show potentially continue for at least another five years!” she said. “There's that line that Richie had in the beginning, like: 'It is a delicate ecosystem.' As long as that is inspired and nurtured then we'll have the magic that we have. So that's more important. Five more seasons, please!”

The third season also saw Ayo Edebiri - who plays Sydney Adamu - head behind the camera as she directed the sixth episode, ‘Napkins’, with the star praising Colón-Zayas for her performance in the episode.

“I feel like I got a master class in acting from Liza and from the other actors who got to grace the screen,” said Edebiri. “I feel like I learned so much from our crew, from our camera department… just from everybody.

“It was really a blast and an honour to get to helm an episode that showcases everything that Liza can do. I mean, not even everything, like a fraction of the things that she can do. She's such a powerhouse.”

The Bear seasons 1-3 are available to stream on Disney+ in the UK and Hulu in the US.
