The Beatles have a 'new' single in the top 10 of one of the British charts. It has been more than 50 years since Sir Paul McCartney, John Lennon, Sir Ringo Starr and George Harrison went their separate ways but the Liverpool band's enduring popularity and the release of remastered versions of their hits mean they remain in and around the charts.

All in all, The Beatles have had 18 number one singles in the UK's official single's charts - the most recent of which was last year's 'Now and Then'. That track featured cleaned-up John Lennon vocals from the 1970s, George's guitar playing from the 1990s and new recordings from Paul and Ringo.

The chart success of 'Now and Then' - released as the last ever Beatles song - meant that the band set a new record for the longest gap between an act's first and last number one. There were 60 years and six months between the April 1963 release of 'From Me to You' (the band's first number one in the official charts) and the November 2023 release of 'Now and Then'.

'Now And Then' has also scored the band nominations for record of the year and best rock performance at the 2025 Grammy awards. However, another Beatles single is currently enjoying chart success in the UK.

'From Us to You', playing on the name of 'From Me to You', has hit number ten in this week's official physical singles charts. Compiled by the Official Charts Company, the physical single charts count sales of CDs, vinyl and other physical formats.

This week's chart counts sales from November 15 to November 21 and Kylie Minogue's 'Lights, Camera, Action' has risen from number 20 to the top. The Beatles' 'From Us to You' was released as a new vinyl earlier this month.

It is more of an EP than a single, featuring several tracks that were recorded as part of BBC specials in 1963. It entered the charts last week and has peaked at ten this week.
