Beautiful Devon coastal café earns massive honour

A coastline cafe has landed the Tripadvisor Travellers’ Choice Award for the second year. The Bucket and Spade is famed for its stunning views over the Jurassic coastline.

And now, as well as the panorama, the Shaldon eaterie been given top marks for quality of food, friendly service and ambience from visitors and locals in the area. The awards celebrate businesses that have received great traveller reviews on Tripadvisor over the past 12 months.

Managing Director, Josh Donald says: “We’re delighted to be recognised and earn consistently high reviews on Tripadvisor. It’s testament to the hardworking team at the Bucket & Spade, who always endeavour to provide an outstanding and friendly service for all of our visitors and residents, with appetising locally sourced food.

Upcoming events include the new Christmas menu from December 2 until 23 for lunch and dinner. Two courses cost £26, three courses cost £32 per person, and includes crackers.

The Bucket and Spade Festive Afternoon tea is £16.95 per person, or £21.95 with a glass of bubbles. For those who like to dance, come along to one of the Bucket & Spade’s live music events on December 7, 14, and 21.
