'Beautiful' Shelf Cloud Forms as Line of Storms Moves Across Central Texas

A line of storms brought heavy rain and gusty winds of up to 50 mph to central Texas on Wednesday, June 2, the National Weather Service said.

An ominous shelf cloud was captured by Twitter user @FLTXRedDevil as a storm approached Eastland, Texas. The user can be heard calling the massive cloud “beautiful” and saying, “We don’t need any more rain, but it’s coming anyway,” in the video.
