Beautiful sunrise over Niagara Falls on the coldest day of the year during a frigid polar vortex
As a frigid polar vortex sweeps down through Canada it embraced Niagara Falls during a beautiful sunrise on Saturday 4 February. High winds from the day before pushed lake ice further down the river and over the falls. The river looks like a giant slushie with all the ice. You can hear it as it hits the walls!
