Thomas Rhett has opened up on his musical influences ahead of his upcoming London show, admitting “becoming a father twice has had a huge effect on my life.”

The Marry Me singer released his latest album Life Changes towards the end of 2017 which debuted at number one in the US Billboard charts and number two on the UK Country Albums chart.

He has since admitted that his newly-found fatherhood has “definitely crept into my song-writing.”

Rhett and wife Lauren Akins adopted their first daughter one-year-old Willa Gray from Uganda in May last year and shortly after in August gave birth to their second daughter Ada James.
