Bedfordshire man dismembered landlady and left body in storage unit
A 45-year-old Bedfordshire man dismembered his landlady and left her remains in a storage unit. Scott Paterson, of no fixed address, pleaded guilty to murdering his 74-year-old victim at a hearing at Luton Crown Court on Monday (September 9).
A Bedfordshire Police spokesperson said: "Scott Paterson, 45, of no fixed address, has pleaded guilty to the murder of Annette Smith at Luton Crown Court today (Monday), during a pre-trial preparation hearing. The man who killed and dismembered his 74-year-old landlady before hiding her remains in a storage unit is facing life behind bars."
