Bedrooms and loft of Fenton home converted into cannabis farm
Cannabis grower Indrit Nuhiallri has been jailed after he was caught trying to escape from a 90-plant Stoke-on-Trent cannabis farm.
Officers arrested the 35-year-old as he fled out the back door of a house in Fenton on September 11. North Staffordshire Justice Centre heard officers were alerted to a suspicious property in Fenton.
When searching the property, 16 cannabis plants were found in the front bedroom and a further 22 plants in a rear bedroom. The attic had been converted into a full cannabis grow and the electricity had been bypassed.

Officers informed Western Power Distribution who stopped the supply and made the property safe.
Nuhiallri, of Burslem, pleaded guilty to being concerned in the production of a controlled drug of class B - cannabis. He was handed a six-month sentence and ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £154. The plants were seized and destroyed.
PC Lucy Young, the officer in charge of the case, said: “I’m pleased Nuhiallri was handed a custodial sentence for his offending and that we were able to disrupt the production and supply of cannabis in Stoke-on-Trent with his prosecution.”
