A Bee Gees biopic is reportedly in the works with Bohemian Rhapsody producer Graham King.

According to Deadline, King and Paramount Pictures, the distributor of the Elton John biopic Rocketman, have teamed up with the film production company Sister for the project.

The Bee Gees, comprised of brothers Barry, Robin, and Maurice Gibb, have sold more than 220 million records around the world.

Maurice died in 2003 and Robin in 2012. Barry’s the only member of the trio who’s still alive today.

Paramount reportedly purchased life rights from the Gibb family for the film.

Many of the Bee Gees’ best-known songs are featured on the soundtrack of the 1977 film Saturday Night Fever, including “Stayin’ Alive” and “How Deep Is Your Love”.

Bohemian Rhapsody was released in 2018 and won four Academy Awards, including Best Actor for Rami Malek, who portrayed Freddie Mercury.

Rocketman followed in May 2019, with Taron Egerton as John.
