Night owls across Greater Manchester are in for some good news following an announcement by the Bee Network. Trams are, from later this month, set to run until 1am on Friday and Saturday nights.
The last service of the night on all lines will reach their final destination at just after 1am. This will be dependent on the tram line you are on.
Between 12am and 1am on these days, there will be trams every 24 minutes. To double check the time of your last tram, head over to the Bee Network website.
This is the latest tram alteration announced by the Bee Network, with the additional tram service between MediaCityUk and Etihad Campus coming into place today (September 25).
If you are travelling between Harbour City and Etihad Campus during peak hours, there will be a tram every 6 minutes to get you to where you need to be. There will be trams every 6 minutes between city centre stops and the Etihad Campus during peak hours.
If you are travelling to MediaCityUK tram stop, this means you'll consistently have a 12-minute service to/from your stop from the beginning to the end of service every day. There will be a MediaCityUK to Etihad Campus service every 12 minutes during peak hours, and an Eccles to Ashton service that stops at MediaCityUK every 12 minutes outside of peak hours.
The Eccles to Ashton service will remain in place from the beginning to end of service each day. This service will run via MediaCityUK at the following times:
Monday to Friday - before 7am and after 8pm
Saturday - before 9am and after 6.30pm
Sunday - all day
